Our private day tours in Vietnam offer some adventures ranging from a Vietnamese street food tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, and Ho Chi Minh City motorcycle tours.
Additionally, we give back to charity on every tour booked!

Our tours are not for everyone, because we will simply not jeopardize your safety and experience to sell you a budget tour. With that said, our private tours are designed to give you quality for what you pay for. Are we right for you? Read these 5 reasons on why you should not book with i Tour Vietnam

Motorbikes seem pretty dangerous, will it be safe for me?

Traveling around Vietnam by motorbikes is safe and not as intimidating as it may seem. The speed that we travel is generally around 20-40 KM (12-24 MPH) to ensure safety and so that you can actually enjoy the sights. All of our experienced tour guides have a valid license and a clean driving record.

In addition, all of our tours include insurance coverage for added safety measures.
For more information on motorbike riding tips in Vietnam, check our blog on 5 Motorbike Riding Tips for First-time Passengers.

Are all of your drivers female?

i Tour Vietnam provides equal employment opportunities without regard to gender, age, or religion. Some may argue that females/males are better drivers, but to us it is the individual’s characteristics that matter; it is this uniqueness that makes our team special.

Can I drive the motorbike?

All of our tour guides are licensed with clean driving records so that we can offer you the safest experience possible. With that in mind, most travelers may not know all of the local rules, traffic regulations, and do not have a Vietnamese driver’s license; therefore, all guests are required to ride on the back of the motorcycle at all times unless they have a valid driver’s license from Vietnam and want to drive. If you wish to drive one of our motorcycles, please contact us at info@itourvn.com for further information.

What should I bring on the tours?

A backpack, camera, and sunglasses, or anything else you might want to bring to make your traveling experience more comforting. We highly advise guests not to bring valuables or loose pieces of jewelry that could be easily lost or stolen. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended to give you the most enjoyable experience on the back of our motorbikes. For women, we advise you not to wear skirts or dresses for ease of crossing over the back seat of a motorbike.

Do I have to bring my own helmet?

We provide standard safety-tested, half-face helmets for our passengers. Guests may also choose to use full-face helmets if they wish – simply let us know at your booking.

How far ahead of time do I need to book a tour?

Our tours run daily and our limited tour spaces run out quickly.
We highly advise booking early to avoid disappointment. If you book at least 48 hours ahead of time, we can better accommodate your schedule and requests (i.e. pickup arrangments, food allergies, etc.). We also understand that your visiting time in Ho Chi Minh could be limited so for last-minute bookings, please call us at 0986188801 (local) or +84-986188801 (international) for availability.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have a secured booking and wish to cancel the tour, a 50% fee will be charged. No refund will be given if canceled within 48 hours of the tour date.

What payment method do you accept?

We accept online booking and payments made through PayPal, major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), and major Debit Cards.

If you choose to pay with cash (USD, VND, EUR, AUD) on the date of the tour, go ahead and submit your online booking, follow by emailing us a confirmation of your booked hotel details to info@itourvn.com Upon receiving sufficient information, we will send you a confirmation of the tour.

Do you accept cash as a payment option?

If you choose to pay with cash (USD, VND, EUR, AUD) on the date of the tour, go ahead and submit your online booking, follow by emailing us a confirmation of your booked hotel details to info@itourvn.com Upon receiving sufficient information, we will send you a confirmation of the tour!

What happens should it rain on the day of my tour?

In Ho Chi Minh City, our rainy season is from April – Oct with daily short showers.
Should we expect heavy rain, we will contact you beforehand to discuss your options if the tour has not begun. You may choose to delay the tour for 30 minutes or an hour, or reschedule for another time/date and this is subject to availability.

If during the tour and there is a slight rain, we will continue on the tour and provide you raincoats – it is all part of the “local” experience. If during the tour and there is heavy rain, we will give you the option to wait out the rain or return back to your hotel and give a refund for the remaining un-toured hours.

We will always cancel our tours if we deem the weather to be unsafe to drive for our guests and tour guides. In this case, a full refund is granted.

I sent you an inquiry, why did I not receive a reply?

We commit to reply to all inquiries within a 24 hour time frame. If you have not received a response back from us, please be sure to check your spam folder.

Is it safe for my child to ride the motorbike?

Safety is important to us.

We take extreme caution when driving our guests, especially the younger ones. However, we do not suggest any guest bring a child under the age of 3 because he or she will not be able to fit the size of our standard safety-tested helmets. For children under the ages of 8, it is recommended that the child rides together with a parent, in between the adult and the driver.

Children under the ages of 8 get a 50% discount off tour prices if he or she rides with a parent. Children 8 and above may choose to have their own bike and driver for comfort.

I have food allergies. How will I be accommodated?

Please specify your allergies when you book our tours. If there is something specific you would like to eat/try, we will try our best to accommodate you. We also cater to vegan and vegetarian dieters in addition to our hearty, meat-dieters.

What is i Tour Vietnam’s GIVE BACK Program?

i Tour Vietnam’s GIVE BACK Program holds the belief that community will always be within our hearts. We believe in giving back to the communities we serve, not just with resources but also with responsibility and time.
We do not donate money, but only items to ensure that the donations directly benefit the disadvantaged. For every tour booked, our guests have the ability to decide 1 of 4 resources to donate to a charitable organization and GIVE BACK at our expenses:
1. Donate a t-shirt to orphans
2. Feed a meal to the homeless
3. Donate a new set of school supply to orphans
4. Plant a tree

Not only does the tour become an adventure, but it is also part of a rewarding journey.
