Most of the budget hostels in Ho Chi Minh City are located in Pham Ngu Lao Ward, District 1, or the so-called Backpackers’ District which will offer you great social experience. But there are also other options outside this lively area. Check out this list and find one that fit your style.

Budget Hostels in Ho Chi Minh City- Located in Backpackers’ District

Location: The backpackers’ district is about 9 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and 2.5 – 3 km from city’s downtown Nguyen Hue Walking Street and other famous attractions of Ho Chi Minh City.

How to get there: You can get here with the shuttle bus at the airport (109) in 30-45 minutes or a cab from downtown in 10 minutes.
